Looking up at Jackie, Zinda couldn't help but smile a little, even despite the current situation. "You weren't the one who ruined my night, Jackie boy. I could have just as easily called in your kidnapping instead of chasing after you like some blamed superhero. But I didn't. That..." She sort of motioned vaguely in the direction of the warehouse with a finger. "That just comes with the territory. But I think I'd like it if you'd drive. It might make me feel a little better," she admitted, handing him the keys.
Once they had switched places and Zinda had tilted her seat back just a little, the blonde actually felt better. "We can do that drink now if you like, but if you want to go where no one would question you being there, I know a nice little place outside of Gotham. Not that far of a drive. They do drinks and food. If your stomachs up for the latter." That was the one thing Bart had always told Zinda; eat when you can. War didn't have set meal times, so most often you tended to take your food on the go, even when things were bad. So, Zinda sort of saw it as a comfort to look forward to. It meant that she was still alive. And right now, she really wanted a milkshake.
She was also running things over in her head, finally coming to a conclusion after a few quiet moments. "I'm not gonna turn you in, Jackie. My friends'll investigate everything and I can't stop them from doin' such, nor would I. But if they find anything, I'm also not gonna be the girl that hides you. We all got secrets, you and me both, I'm sure. I got my reasons for how I am, and you got your reasons for being here and that fella ending up like that, but I won't pry unless you say it's okay." Zinda wasn't stupid. She knew Jackie had something to do with that death. She just didn't know how, and part of her was happy with not knowing.
