Janet van Dyne, the Avenger known as The Wasp, pulled up in front of the former Avenger Compound in her newest chauffeured limo. She was there to do a press conference to promote her latest fashion show/charity event, which would see several heroes and heroines in costumes and outfits she had personally designed, all proceeds going to help at risk youths in the Los Angeles area ofcourse. She was a few hours early, as she wanted to make sure everything was set up to her specifics, from the lighting, and the seating arrangements, to the food that was to be served. She also had set up to meet with one of the young heroes whom had agreed to be one of the models for her show, later that weekend.
She waited for her driver to get out and open her door for her, a habit of her up bringing, before she got out and made her way to the front entrance. She had to admit, that being back here brought back some fond memories of her days with The Avengers' Westcoast team, which she had the privilege to serve on for a few years, as well as Chair. Sure, the team had it's downs, from Wanda Maximoff's mental breakdown after losing her children, to the death of Bobbi Morse, as well as the team's untimely disbanding at the request of The Vision and the main team. Still, she couldn't help but think that in this particular case, the good definitely out weighed the bad, atleast as far as she was concerned. She smiled, as she pulled out her set of keys from her purse, inserted the largest into the front door of the main pavilion, and unlocked and opened the door.
As she walked inside, she was glad to see that everything looked to be set up, and already prepared, atleast furniture wise, for the press conference that was to be held. The food would arrive about an hour before the actual conference itself, and be set up outside by the pool area. After a quick run over, making sure everything looked in order, Jan made her way to the pool, where she was expecting her guest to arrive a few minutes later. She had some things she wished to discuss with the young lady, and a proposition she hoped she would accept.
