Acrobatics Vic is a very proficient acrobat. Certainly not as proficient as Nightwing is, though Vic is versed enough to use acrobatic aerial stunts to traverse the city roof tops, rebound off building walls to survive a fall, and perform somersaults to increase his drag.
Disguise The Question has and can assume many different aliases. Part of this is due to his chemically treated clothing and pseudoderm application gas that has a color changing affect. Vic also has many different faces which he employees in his investigative duties.
Genius Level Intellect Vic has an incredible level of intelligence which has granted him an unpredictable way of thinking. His clever mind and quick wit is his greatest assest as he most generally uses his mind to find his enemy by outsmarting them.
Hand to hand combat advanced Vic is a classically trained kung-fu style martial artist who is very skilled and able to handle multiple opponents at once.
Interrogation When it comes to interrogation skill and tactics, Vic has been know to be rather rough and abrasive, usually employing intimidation and scare tactics to get the truth.
Investigation Vic is arguably one of the top detectives in the world. Though not at the caliber of a Batman, though he maybe one of the few people who could follow Batman's investigative thinking and have a chance of keeping up.
Pseudoderm Pseudoderm is a skin imitating bandage first developed as a bandaid of sorts. However it was proven to be toxic when applied to open wounds. However it is perfectly safe when there is no open wound present. Pseudoderm perfectly hides the features of its wearer, making it seem as though the face is non-existent, and completely covered in skin. It does not impede breathing or eyesight and has to be applied and removed with a special gas.
What's hidden behind the mask:
Personality: One of Vic's greatest personality traits is his indomitable will. Rarely has Vic ever given up or backed down from anything. Like a viscous attack dog, once he gets a scent on the "truth" he pursues with with rigorous abandon.
Vic has a tendency to be a deep thinker, and a philosopher of sorts as he ponders the nature of the world around him. This deeper thought allows him to understand people and the city and how they all interconnect on a greater level. Such a thought process gives him the ability to see the connections where most other people will not. This has an unintended consequence of causing Vic to be a bit on the paranoid and conspiracy theorist side of things. Making him come across as a bit quirky or weird in some aspects.
Aside from his quirky conspiracy theorist view point on the world and his attack dog nature when it comes to pursuing villans and the truth, Vic is actually a very fair and just. To him the courts find you either guilty or not guilty which is not the same as innocent. Vic searches for the truth so that he can determine guilty or innocent. There is no grey area with him.
History: Abandoned at birth, Vic spent his childhood in a harshly run orphanage in Hub City. Often boasting as a young kid of his ability to endure the torment and capital punishments dished out by the heavy handed orphanage administrator. Vic was every the trouble maker as he fought to survive and make it on his own. Though by the grace of the fates themselves, and a journalist scholarship contest, Vic managed to make it into college where he met Lois Lane.
It was during these college years that Vic fostered and nurtured his journalistic and investigative ability as well as began to form his own moral code and sense of justice. All the while nursing an unrequited crush on Lois. Something he never mentioned to her due to his own natural social awkwardness.
After college Vic returned to Hub City where he began his career as a freelance investigative journalist. Though the more he dug into the big stories in Hub City the more he started to see that criminal corruption was smothering the truth. A notion that aggravated him greatly, and continued to aggrivate him the more he pushed forward.
It was Vic's unrelenting style that caught the ire of the criminal element and Vic found himself caught in a drive by, shot and left for dead if not for a mysterious Asian man who helped nurse him back to health and give Vic the training he needed.
For a whole year the world was without Vic Sage as he trained under the tutelage of Richard Dragon. Determined to return to Hub City and find the justice that the law was unable to give him because of all the corruption at its very core.
Perhaps it was the gun shot wound, or perhaps it was Richard Dragon's training, but never the less Vic returned a year later with a greater understanding of people and the very nature of the City. Though he was still unsure how to proceed until the day an his old professor, Aristotle Rodor, approached him with the gift of pseudoderm.
With his new identity hiding mask in place, Vic set out to find the truth to the cities corruption. Something that led him to the very underbelly of Hub City and eventually uncovering connections all the way to the mayors office. With the proof he needed Vic set to the airwaves to tell the truth and the Question was born.
Now he travels the world in search of truth and justice. His exploits having caught the eye of the Justice League and gaining him entrance into that very noted society of super heroes. Putting his investigative skills and conspiracy theory mind to good use fighting those that would seek to corrupt the people.

The full moon hung high in the night sky, though their were only two things that indicated there truly was a full moon out tonight. One being his calendar as it showed the lunar cycles, and the other being the sheer volume of crazies that tended to spill out into the city. A dark thunderous cloud loomed over the city, blocking anyone from being able to look up and confirm that the moon truly was full.
His brow furrowed as he wondered who was trying to hide something on this night. It never failed, dark nights and thunder clouds translated into murder and deception. Add the astronomical effect of the full moon to that and all hell was preparing to break loose.
"You do realize you should not drink Coca-cola. Or any cola for that matter." Vic said to the random stranger that stood under the covered safety of the bus stop.
"Yeah I know. The caffeine and sugar aren't good for me, but its sooo good." A tall lanky man said as he looked at his big gulp glass of Coke.
"No you idiot. It has nothing to do with sugar. Ever wonder why brand name Jell-o and generic jell-o are chemically equivalent. But the various colas are not. Its because Pepsi cola and Coca cola spend millions to keep their formula a secret. Why... because its laced with cocaine and other highly addictive mind altering preservatives." Vic said as he shoved his hands into his trench coat and watched as a streak of lightening accentuated his ominous warning.
"Coke used to be made with cocaine, but they changed the formula decade ago." Replied the man with a bit of a snicker.
"Right... changed the formula... said the shepherd to the sheep." Was all that Vic said as he pulled his fedora tight to his head and stepped out into the light drizzle. A gunshot rang out across the city and Vic Sage turned his eyes to where the moon should be and glared.
"Whose hiding you tonight and why?"
