Somebody Save me. (Harley)

[Frostbite]

Frostbite sat in her room as she waited for another doctor to visit her, she was sure he or she would poke and prod her like all the others. Her room was extra cold because she'd suffered from a sever case of Hypothermia, because of her hypothermia she developed her ability to manipulate generate, control ice. Running her fingers through her hair she let a sigh escape her lips as she stood up, started to pace her room. '' Somebody get me out of this horrible place.'' She thought as she waited for more torture, she was really desperate to be released from her prison which she hoped was soon. The white haired villain was tired of being locked up, even though she knew she would have to stay out of the sun she was pretty sure she was safer inside because her room had no windows.


The white haired young woman was really lonely, she couldn't remember her real name or where she had come from. None of the doctors that visited her addressed her by a name they just called her project frost or something like that which really irritated her, the fact that she'd been there since she was a child didn't help her mentally. She was talking to herself, pacing her room all the time if she wasn't sleeping which didn't always come easy for her considering the fact she was always so cold. '' One of these days I'll figure out what happened, who I am..'' She thought as another cold sigh escaped her lips, as soon as it hit the air it just shattered into little pieces of ice.

The thin woman stood outside the building, her dual hair color blowing in the wind as a gentle breeze rolled in. Garbage blew in the wind, paper bags rustled and echoed through the abandoned strrets. The large midnight moon hung in the sky while the stars shimmered against the black canvas. Light hazes of greyish clouds, with a slight transparentsy to it, moved slowly through the sky against the black backdrop to the world. The street lamps that lined the street were shattered with the remaining glass scattered along the dark concrete as the large buildings cast their enormous shadows down onto the already darkened concrete.

The petit woman slowly walked towards the building, the large mallet dragging behind her. The large rock held against the end scratched against the concrete creating a spark, illuminating the darkened street ever so slightly. It was the only amount of light provided along the street aside from a few flickering lamps. She drew near to the glass doors of the building. Stopping for a moment, she braced herself and wound herself back and swung the massive hammer. The large rock smashed against the glass doors as an alarm was triggered. Dropping the rock aginst concrete, her slim figure walked in through the shattered area, avoiding the remaining jagged pieces of glass that still aimed centered.

The girl's eyes held a pain and anger in them. She seemed extremely bewildered. Almost feral in a way. The receptionist tried to get up out of her chair, but before she had anytime, Harley tossed two blade at the woman, on caught her arm leaving a scratch while the other penetrated her throat. She dropped to the floor, lifeless as two security guards entered the lobby. Before they had time to even draw their gun, the girl had already bounced off the wall and had her legs around one of their necks. Locking her feet together, she swung her body down and placed her hands against the marble floor and pulled the guard to the ground. Keeping the grip tight, she twisted her waist and snapped the mans neck before rolling back and avoiding the gunshot of the second guard.

She jammed a small blade into the side of the man's knee, and propped herself up, delivering a swift heel kick to his jaw. The man fell to the ground and she kartwheeled to her feet. Just before the man hit the ground, the gun clattered to the ground as the kick shocked him to drop his weapon. The girl slowly approached the man, dragged the mallet along the floor. She watched, emotionless as the man paniced and his breath accelerated and he became terrified of her. He was scrambling to get to his feet, but the blade in his knee was sort of hurting his chances of standing. Hoisting the mallet over her shoulder, she tightened her grip on the handle before sharply bringing the large rock against his head.

Flipping her head back, she brushed the small amount of blood off her face. Dropping the mallet to the ground, she left it beside his body as she started down the hallway. Her pace was set very well. She walked quickly making a b-line. Her face was voided of emotion as she passed the several hallways, for some reason there was absolutly no kind of retaliation against her. Maybe they were all on break or something, but two security guards for a lab. Harley passed several closed doors, each of them barred and some without a window at all. This place reminded her of Arkham, but a lot more sanitary then the asylum. Everything was steril and the white didn't really scream anything. The color scheme was so much different, but the cells really did it for the memory.

She remembered her old job at the asylum. She had been an intern until she met the love of her life, the Joker. He convinced her to take up crime and be at his side for forever and always. she would've followed that man to hell and back if he asked her to, but that was all a thing of the past. Sure she still loved him, but she wasn't going to be his toy or plaything anymore. He had constantly left her beaten and bloody, even high and dry for the cops to drag off, and even after every single time he left, she would always be stupid enough to take him back and keep up with being hid little doll, his face, his chump to take the fall for his bullshit schemes. But when he left her alone for the last time and she wasn't going to go after him. She was done with it all, all the people looking down on her for going back to him after every abuse and jail sentance. Finally she was going to make something of herself and prove that she wasn't some dumb bitch.

She walked quickly towards the end of the hallway. One of the doors beside her opened and one of the scientists poked their head out. "Hey... who're you?" Said the doctor as Harley removed the blade from its sheath on her ribs, she slowed for a moment and slid the blade against their throat, leaving a red line across the doctors throat. It only took a split moment before she dropped lifelessly to the ground. She quickly flicked her wrist as the blood flung off the blade and against the steril white walls of the lab. Sheathing the blade once again, the thin girl rounded the corner of the hallway and peered down the hall. She looked down the hall and heard a gunshot coming from behind her. With a confused look on her face, the girl spun around and saw a guard standing at the end of the hall. He then proceeded to aim the weapon at the girl.

With a smirk on her face, Harley quickly tossed the balde down the hall towards the guard. Sliding to the side, she dove behind the corner of the hall for cover as the blade passed his arm shredding through his clothing. The guard let loose a small whimper as the girl drew her dual pistols and stood, pressing her back against the white walls. She heard a second gunshot as the bullet hit against wall, embedding itself and leaving burn marks surrounding the entry point. Working fast, she dove out and aimed both gun at the man and fired three shot out of each gun. All of the bullets hit the man and hit his knee cap, his bicep and finally skidded past his ear. The other three entered his torso and the wind escaped the mans lungs as he dropped to the floor in panic. Rolling to her feet, she dropped her guns and ran fullspeed at the man. As she ran, she removed the wire from a compartment around her belt. Flipping over him, she placed the wire around his neck and tightened it as the rest of his breath eascaped his body. She waited until he went limp and then allowed his body to drop to the floor lifeless.

As she looked at his lifeless body, she heard the muffled sound of a smash. Raising an eyebrow, she looked at the door to her left. Standing to her feet, she appraoched the door and peered to the chart hanging on the door. Name: Unknown Alias: Project Frost With an interested look in her eyes, Harley removed one of her tiny blades and started to pick the lock. The sound of a click filled the empty hallway and the door creaked open. Standing tall, Harley looked at the woman, she was blue skined and white haired. With a glare at the woman, she spoke. "Get up honey, I'm busting you out of here."

Frostbite stood to her feet, smiled when she heard those words she stayed silent. Walking past the woman who's name she didn't know she stopped, turned as she looked around her realizing most of the guards were dead. '' Thank You.'' She said as she smiled deviously she'd already made an ice sculpture of herself, it was standing in the corner of her room so the doctors would think she'd just completely lost it. She didn't ask any questions she just let her savior lead the way out of the horrible place she had called home since she was around 8-9 maybe ten she couldn't remember anything all she knew was that she was free, she would savor her freedom but 1st she wanted to find out who she was. It didn't matter who her family was or anything she figured they had abandoned her years ago, just wanted to know where she came from as well as her given name since the doctors had always just called her project Frost.

Aside from memories of all the torture she'd endured while she was a prisoner there was nothing inside her head she had a brain but her mind was completely blank, as many times as the doctors tried to get her to cooperate with their methods of trying to help her. She was glad one of them was dead cause if she had to endure anymore poking or prodding she was going to kill every last one of them herself, since she could create anything she wanted to out of ice she would make sure they never took another breath or uttered another scientific word. She looked innocent to an extent, she looked troubled but she was clearly insane she'd been locked up most of her life so all the walls in her mind had shattered leaving a mentally unstable shell of a woman.

Harley watched as the woman brushed past her, not really acknowledging her at first. She didn't expect her to right away. She knew what it was like to finally be free from a cage that people kept you in after proding and poking around in your train wrecked mind. She assumed there were different ways of treatment between this facility and Arkham Asylum. She assumed that with this being a place for scientific research, there wouldn't be as many psychiatric evaluations here as there were in Arkham. Then again, Arkham was a mental institution for the criminally insane so it dealt more with behaviour modification and the psyche of their patients, sure there were physical evaluations, but not as many as there were at medical facilities where their "patients" were considered projects.

Harley used to love the psychiatric evaluations. The doctors always tried to help that which did not want help. They played their pathetic mind games with someone who knew the book inside and out. They often seemed to forget that she herself was a psychiatrist at the asylum before allowing herself to take a peek on the other side of the curtain and dive deeper into the dark abyss. They would just try so hard to convince her that she's better then the Joker and she had such a promising future had she just not succomb to the insanity. But they weren't actually paying any attention to her case. They were the ones allowing their judgement to be influenced by the constant belief that she was an imbecile who had no idea what to do in this world.

Had they ever actually paid attention to her, they would see the genius that was masked behind the ditzy girl who allowed herself to be abused. Sure she didn't break away from the Joker, but that was because she loved him and would do anything to make him happy. But she knew she was like that. Many people would do crazy things for love, for that one thing they want. Harley was willing to kill and take falls for her love, or she used to be willing to. Not anymore. He had left her to fend for herself, alone in this dark world. She had been at his side for years and always took the fall when he left her for the police or the Batman, took the fall and when he came around to breaking her out, she was another little obediante pet and crawled right back to him without a single question. But not anymore.

She had been left high and dry for the last time, not anymore. She was through being the pet, the abused, the scared little girl. Harley still had ties to other villains, but they were fall backs, they were her pawns. She had set herself up perfectly over the years by befriending other rogues from Batman's gallery. Joker was dis-liked but feared. Harley took a differant approach and appealed to their humanity and their true nature. She had everyone's strings in her hands. This had been a game far too long overdue. This was going to be the battle of the century, nothing Joker had ever done to this city would compare to what would happen when he comes back for his little precious girl because she would be waiting for him with an army to tear him apart. Steps were already in place, to aquire the assistance of everyone, but it would take time to win them over, in the mean time would be a single person at a given time.

As the girl passed, Harley noticed the ice sculpture in the far corner of the room. It's back was towards the door and shape resembled that of the girl. Even with these dead bodies she was still going to try and make them believe she didn't escape? Was she that concerned about this facility going after her? What sort of things even went down in this building that would make someone so afraid. The nature of the building was a bit concerning because of its sterile walls and feel to it, but the sense in the building wasn't fear. It was something much deeper then fear. Something like compliance out of forceful hands. She felt the obediance radiating off the walls, but it mixed in well with the revolution boiling within the cages, waiting for the chance to escape and wreck havok.

A simply thank you escaped the girls lips in a cool breath. The tone in the woman's voice sent shivered rippling through Harley's body. She liked the cool tone the woman forstered in her. A smirk spread across her pale face as the woman seemed to attentively wait for someone to lead her to freedom. With a raised eye brow, Harley drew near to the woman, leaning in wards until her lips were pretty well pressed against the other woman's ear and gave out a low whisper to the woman. "You know you don't have to leave right away. Revenge is a dish that's best served cold, and by the look of it, you're as cold as they come baby." Slowly, she backed away from the woman and just smiled, hoping she would go ahead and bring this place to the ground. She had seen the potentional of Mr. Freezes abilities, but meta's usually out did science, this woman might end up being a great addition to Harley's sort of group of friends and in the end game plan, she might come in handy.

Frostbit didn't say another word, when she was told she didn't have to leave just yet she smiled. She turned around, faced the door that lead to one of the labs then opened her mouth to blow cold air toward it. She'd frozen the door shut, she could see all the security guards were either injured or dead which made her very happy. Frostbite looked in at her room, sighed shaking her head as she looked at her ice sculpture she realized that she would never be tied down or forced to listen to scientific babble which is all it was to her. She didn't need revenge cause well as long as she could start fresh find out who she was, how she manifested her abilities she would feel better about herself.

Placing a strand of white hair behind her ear she could see faces in the window of the door she had frozen shut, she could see hands pressing against the cold glass as their screams wavered. A laugh escaped her blue lips as her smile faded but she was happy with what she had done, she would make sure no one had to ever endure the torture she had to. Forming a ball of ice in her hand with her own breath she looked at the girl that had rescued her from her prison, opened her mouth to speak once more. '' Got any explosives? '' She asked as she held the ball in the palm of her hand, smiled she would make sure the place was buried underground along with everyone else in the building. Although she felt sorry for other patients the white haired woman had no intentions of freeing them cause they had more reason to be there then she did, it was her time to shine as a villain.
