WAR IN THE MIDDLE EAST
The United States had sent various soldiers and superheros who volunteered to the middle east to get things under control as quickly as possible so that it could focus its resources on other things. Some superheros declined since they believed that territory didn't concern them. However the Comedian denounced some of the others who turned it down as Un-American and cowards and put his hand up first to volunteer. As it stands some Superheros decided to go over while others were against it. The idea was simple, sending superheros, protectors of truth and justice would help bring justice to the criminals in that part of the world.
THE COMEDIAN IN WAITING
The soldiers had been fighting for so long already before most of the costumed heros even showed up. The super heros that co-operated were given instructions to do whatever they needed to do to win the war as quickly as possible. There were no other instructions then that. No plans, no ranks, no one even knew whether the costumed heros would be working together, by themselves, with the soldiers or any info that would make the situation simple. They had to go over and make sense of the situation themselves.
The Comedian was the first one on the scene. He had been in the battle for about 10 days already. He was relaxing in a military tent surrounded by various guards. Although he wasn't in any position of authority over the soldiers he sure seemed to act important, or maybe he just knew he was safer in the tent then outside.
A loud chopper sound was heard coming to the military base. It was disturbing The Comedian's resting time as he got up to check what the commotion was. The helicopter was landing on the helipad at the base. The men weren't sure who it was but Eddie seemed to have an idea.
"Ah crap! Looks like another hero has come to show their loyalty to America"
The Comedian looked around at the other soldiers who were all standing at attention. He didn't understand it. They could be dead tomorrow yet they acted as though their actions right now effected their future lives. The Comedian however was more relaxed as he picked at a bit of dirt that was between his teeth and spat it out on the ground while he waited to see who had arrived
