The Batman sat next to a gargoyle as he watched the city of Gotham in the night for any criminal activity. It was during this time where he felt free to do whatever he want, to be himself, and he was no longer Bruce Wayne at all. Every criminal hated Batman and named him public enemy number one. Batman did not mind it because he knew since the day Gotham became his city, he would be a marked man. He looked down at the streets, the sidewalks full of snow. It was this time of the year that criminals would maybe law loy and try to sneak in so that he or she can steal. The Batman would keep a close eye for anyone that attempts any dirty tricks. For Bruce Wayne, even though he still has Dick, Tim, Damien, Cassandra, Jason, Alfred and others, he missed his parents the most, still to this day. If they were still here, Martha and Thomas would be proud of Bruce but not sure how they would react to him being a vigilante.
Martha, being the loving mother she is would not feel easy about this. She would not feel it's right that her son is mixing it up with people in this world who did not care about life. His father on the other hand may not like it too, but Thomas should understand where Bruce got his motivation from. His parents tried their best to rid Gotham of the negativity and making it a better city. Bruce could even see his father being a hero, someone like Batman, but not as dark and edgy. The sounds of police sirens are heard as he police cars are off. The time for Batman resting is over and it's time to have some fun. There was no rest for the weary and no rest for Batman. Batman never quits or retires, he'll keep going until he can't do it anymore and handle the cowl to someone who can continue the legacy. Batman jumps before landing in the Batmobile and heads off, following the police.
