Name:Amora
Age:Ancient
Experience: Tons
Contact: Message on here
Name: Amora Incantare
Code Name: None, but wonderfully feared as Amora the Enchantress
Place of Birth: Asgard
Known Family: Parentage and family unknown
Appearance:
Amora's eyes are as green as emeralds, and equally as piercing. She has very long, blonde, wavy hair, fine bone features and high cheekbones. Her physique is perfect, creating a balanced hourglass shape with slight muscle definition. Her measurements are 38", 22", 40". Her skin is porcelain, and her lips are ruby red.
Personality:
Amora is seductive, cunning, immoral, and impulsive. She has a fire in her soul that is untamed, and can often be destructive if triggered.
Weaknesses:
Amora's spells derive their potency from Asgardian sources (such as power objects or entities), and thus are most potent when used in the dimension of Asgard itself. A prolonged absence from Asgard tends to diminish her powers altogether, though they never fade completely. Although she has a superhuman physique, Amora has little to no experience in hand-to-hand combat, typically relying on minions to fight for her.
Weapons:
On occasion, the Enchantress employs various mystical artifacts, potions, and power objects. She has, for instance, kept the soul of Brunnhilda the Valkyrie entrapped in a crystalline gem, using her own magics to assume the Valkyrie's form.
Abilities:
Possesses superhuman strength, longevity, speed, stamina, durability, agility, reflexes and healing factor.
Abilities via mystical powers:
Mind control
Telepathy
Dimensional travel
Energy blasts
Levitation
Teleportation
Illusions
Transmutation
Time manipulation
History:
Amora was born somewhere in Asgard, her parentage unknown. While still in adolescence, she ran away to the land of the Norns and apprenticed herself to Karnilla, one of the most powerful sorceresses in all the Asgardian dimension. There she studied all the basic arts of Asgardian magic until Karnilla expelled her for being too undisciplined. She picked up further sorcerous skills from seducing other Asgardian magi and wizards.
Centuries ago, Amora enlisted Brunnhilda, leader of Odin's Valkyries, in her plans of conquest. However, Brunnhilda soon became aware of Amora's immoral ends, and sought to end their partnership. Amora then used her magic to entrap Brunnhilda within a mystical crystal of souls. Only relatively recently was Brunnhilda freed from Amora's spell.
The Enchantress seduced Skurge the Executioner into assisting her in many of her schemes over the years. But while the Executioner was so infatuated with the Enchantress that he would do anything for her, she continually withheld her favors from him to keep him in thrall.
In her first encounter with Thor after he gained his human identity of Don Blake, the Enchantress attempted unsuccessfully to seduce Blake, and then ordered the Executioner to dispose of Jane Foster, the mortal woman whom Thor then loved. Thor saved Foster and defeated both the Enchantress and Executioner.
In the following years the Enchantress also allied herself with Loki, Baron Zemo, the Mandarin, and Arkon in pursuit of her goals of power and vengeance upon her enemies. She was among the many menaces assembled by Doctor Doom to disrupt the wedding of Reed Richards and Susan Storm. Her most frequent adversaries during these years were Thor and the Avengers. She used one of Zemo's machines to transform one of the Baron's mercenaries into the first Power Man.
Later, the Enchantress was approached by her fellow villainess Volcana, who begged the Enchantress to teleport her to the side of her injured lover the Molecule Man, offering the Enchantress anything she wanted in return. Volcana would later regret this, however, as the Enchantress attempted to use Volcana's lifeforce to transport herself back to Asgard. she was interrupted, however, by both the Molecule Man and the Lizard. The Lizard slashed the Enchantress across the face with his claws. The Enchantress tried to kill the Lizard in retaliation, and managed to transport herself home, apparently healing her face soon afterwards.
The Enchantress' crimes earned her Odin's wrath, and she suffered exile from Asgard in the past. However, she came to Asgard's aid in its recent war with Surtur and his legions from Muspelheim. The Enchantress joined with the heroes of Asgard, and earned the right to stay in Asgard once again. Despite those examples of heroism, the Enchantress basically remains an opportunist seeking her own ends.
Sample Post:
A gruff man, roughly 6"4" with broad shoulders, scurried like a beaten dog to the Enchantress's chambers, where she sat at her vanity in a gorgeous, flowing white and green gown, expecting his presence.
She brushed her golden, flowing hair with a silver comb, looking into the mirror...both at her own reflection to bask in her flawlessness, and at his presence behind her.
"Yes?" her voice cut through the air, clear amongst the man's heavy breathing.
"Enchantress, I was...unsuccessful at the duty you asked me to perform." his voice wavered, barely forcing the sentence out of his mouth.
She paused brushing her hair, and gently set the brush on the vanity desk.
"Unsuccessful? How can this be?" her voice spoke in a low, calm tone, seemingly pleasant but dripping with venom as she looked at his reflection.
color=brown]"I tried...but...there were so many eyes to see, and I would surely have been killed!"[/color] he stuttered.
"Was it ever once said that you would get out alive?" she asked coldly, her piercing gaze shifting concentration to his reflection only as his eyes widened in fear.
Amora rose slowly from her vanity's stool seat, pulled her long hair to fall over one shoulder, and turned to the large-framed man standing in her chambers.
"When I charged you with this duty, I gave a generous price. I did not doubt your abilities, and I did not ask for your loyalty. No. I simply asked this small favor and you accepted to serve my purpose to the extent of your ability and resources...yet here you are standing, and I am without results..." she drew a few steps closer to the man, watching his nerves build as he shook all the way down to his bones.
"What to do...what to do..." she whispered ominously, to which the man replied in begging and pleading for his life. Something to the effect that it 'wasn't his fault' and he 'gave it everything he could'.
But that...was a lie. He still had his life, didn't he? How selfish...
"Calm your nerves, assassin...take comfort in the fact that they will not evade the next attempt..." she said, taking pleasure in the fact that he actually began to feel at ease...what a fool.
"Which, unfortunately, you will not be around to see..." she reveled in horror that struck his eyes suddenly in reaction to her innuendo.
She watched as the man in front of her began to writhe in pain, eventually falling to his knees on the floor, gasping for life. He was slowly burning to death from the inside, out. In a minute, his whole being was engulfed in flames and reduced to smoldering ashes on her floor.
Amora called two maidens to her chambers, to which they hastily responded by appearing in front of her within a matter of seconds.
"Clean this mess up." she commanded.
A young, and curious maiden's voice rang timidly in a question,
"What....what is this, milady?"
Amora turned to look down at her. She would excuse the maiden for speaking out of turn this once because of her youthful ignorance...
"Disappointment."
And with that, the long train on her dress billowed behind her as she walked out of her chamber doors.
