Arkillo wanted to smash any and all green lanterns he came across, so it was quite lucky for him that so many seemed to be in charge of one sector. Of course, not every lantern who came from earth was currently on it, but there were a couple of the humans bumming around on their home world. And a couple lanterns who weren’t even assigned to the sector. Strange how so many were around- perhaps it meant there was really some merit to the notion that Sinestro had swapped sides.
Even if Sinestro had been willing, Arkillo was not sure the members of green and noble would really want their former enemy back in their ranks. So were there more lanterns there to keep an eye on him, or had there been some kind of party on earth he hadn’t been aware of?
It was all too much for him to want to think about- he preferred the bits where he took action over the bits where he considered his options. Really, it didn’t matter what they were there for or if they had some connection to his father- they all needed to die, anyway.
He would make sure they did.
Snarling to himself, the large alien slammed down in some unnamed town, deciding the best way to draw out those in green would be to make himself… noticed. Sure, he could probably have his ring track them, but where was the fun in that? There were always so hilarious when they were mad. Anyway, he hadn’t eaten since his trip from the anti-matter universe.
It had been a long time since he’d eaten a human, and he remembered them tasting very delicious. Of course, work came before play, most of the time, but this was one of those rare moments where the two blended into something that was both fun, and profitable.
Leaping forward, he pointed his ring towards the closest batch of people he could find, firing a massive beam towards them. Their screams always brought a smile to his face. Or, at least, as much of a smile as could happen on his huge, toothed mouth.
As the humans scattered, Arkillo slammed down in front of a young, small human of the female variety, probably a youth by their standards. She had tears in her eyes, and had fallen onto her back when he landed in front of her. Terrified, she stared up at him, her frightened eyes only serving to make him more pleased.
This was going to be a good day, even if no Green Lanterns showed up to stop his little run of chaos.
She looked delicious.
