Larfleeze liked Gotham!
It was very big, and so very fill of things for him to take. Things that should belong to him. Some were small and shiny, while others were big and shiny! Big like the thing he had just claimed. And it seemed it had really been intended for him- no one had been around, making a fuss about him claiming his property. Usually, that happened. People didn’t seem to understand that he was supposed to have these things. Normally he had to get violent before they would leave him alone. This time, however, it had been all alone, waiting for him like a gift.
He enjoyed gifts.
He had seen people using them on the roads- large machines built, seemingly, to transport people from one place to another. And now he had one of his own. Sure, he’d claimed a couple in the past, but he had never been able to make them move. This one, it seemed, had all the right things still inside the car to make it go forward. That was just what he wanted to see- further proof that it was meant for him. Although, there was something strange about his… it seemed different from many on the road. His was… loud.
There was a siren blaring and he didn’t know how to turn it off. But oh well- it was still kind of fun.
Larfleeze had managed to get the car moving, but that didn’t mean he knew how to drive. He veered around traffic, tongue dangling from his mouth like a dog’s as he shot through the streets with no regard to any kind of road law or general safety. He was safe with his ring, so what did he care? He wanted to see what his new possession could do.
The people on the streets would just have to do their best to get out of the way of the out-of-control cop car and its blaring siren. If they couldn’t, well, that was their own problem. Larfleeze did not care about other people- only himself.
That was the way it had always been, and it wasn’t likely to change any time soon. But, happily enough, that seemed quite common in Gotham. The humans in the city didn’t seem to care about one another at all! So he was free to do as he pleased, thinking he was fitting in more than standing out.
Maybe his perception was a little… off.
