Johnny had walked into the building's front entrance, where a light blue polo shirt, brown dockers' shoes with tan socks, and a pair of tan slacks. Normally he would only wear something like this to church, and nowhere else, as it was his parents' favorite outfit to see him in, and he thought it made him look gay. Swallowing his pride, Johnny walked up to the reception desk, informed her of his meeting he had made with Tony, before being told he had been expected, and where the privet elevator was. Pretty fancy set-up, Stark. Even Pym's old lab wasn't anything like this.
Just a few weeks ago, this place had been shut down, and covered with S.H.I.E.L.D., agents, but he had been able to convince the Director to allow Tony to have it back, as well as to remove and surveillance equipment that had been placed there, return anything removed, and finally, give Tony a temporary asylum from the Act, so long as he agreed to this meeting. It hadn't been an easy sell on either end of the bargain, and usually Johnny wasn't the diplomatic type, but with what hung in the balance, Johnny knew this was the only way. In place of all the missing surveillance equipment, Johnny promised to watch Stark and his people like a hawk, though again, that would be easier said than done. He waited for the elevator to come to it's destination, and the doors opened, before he sighed.
He then followed the hallway, which led directly to Tony's office, stopped at his door, and knocked. "Stark? It's John Walker." He and Tony weren't exactly close, so he wasn't sure how well received he would be, nor how the meeting would go, but he was determined to make this work, and bring back the Avengers. He could only hope that they could work together, without Tony and Director Hill, getting into any big fights over the Act, or the fact the Tony was more than likely going to try and sleep with any and all female S.H.I.E.L.D., agents she placed on the team.
