Weight: 90-115 Pounds
Legal Status: Adult
Occupation: Sorceress
Affiliation: The Hellfire Club
General Appearance: Look into the eyes of the External, Mutant and master Sorceress known as Lady Selene Gallio, their crimson surface glints off of the light of both sun and moon as she strolls through the night clad in her usual black outfight. The Lady Selene Gallio towers over most other women even when not wearing her high-heeled shoes or her boots, at a tall, lithe five feet ten inches tall it is quite obvious that she has been able to eat well for centuries. Long, beautiful black hair flows down from her head, travelling down her back to its center, its luxuriously soft surface capable of withstanding great stresses.
Clinging tightly to the porcelain beauty of her lunar white skin is a complicated kevlar outfit, not as if she'd need it though, it is thin and slightly skimpy with not as much clothing as one would exist for one of her title, though she needs the lack of clothing to keep comfortable. Equally tight pants hang against her lithely muscled legs, their kevlar surface protecting Selene as well as the shirt, they travel down to a pair of black, high heeled boots made from a kevlar-tungsten mesh weave. Her right and left hands are gloved with gloves that travel upwards in a spiral, they possess retractable claws. On her three center right fingers are three mystical rings that help focus Earth, Fire and Wind Magics while on her left index finger there is a ring she got made to signify her position in the Hellfire Club. Over her eyes are UV blocking black sunglasses that have a white crown on the left side, signifying her position as Black Queen of the Hellfire Club.
Around the Lady's waist there hangs a utility belt filled with mystical objects and items of all kinds, a knife holster, something holding smoke pellets and many other things as well as the sheath of her tanto rest on it, though it is barely noticeable and seems to go well with her outfit. Twin MA1911's colored black with Proto-Germanic runes on them are placed at the lower center of her back, prepped and ready to fire at all times, the silver bullet firing weapons are useful against supernatural creatures. The silver two foot long Tanto she possesses is held to her body with a simple, silk piece of fabric wrapped around her right leg, it is held within its holster to keep it from cutting her.
Sorcery
Buildings fall and crumble, knees buckle and bones snap, men crumble down falling only to find themselves bowing to Selene, all under the power of her words or the wave of her hand. Literal tonnes of magical energy can be flung at her opponents in a moments notice. The five elements, the seven sins and the twelve darknesses bow down to her, their knees becoming bloody for the seventeen thousand years that Selene Gallio has been studying, her time spent refining and honing her craft. With magic as powerful as the reality manipulator known as the Scarlet Witch, as strong as that as Sorcerer Supreme Steven Strange and even as potent but with more of a punch than the spells of the Goddess of Magic Hecate or Morgana Le Fay, Selene Gallio is arguably one of, if not the, most powerful sorceresses, witches, magic users or whatever you want to call her within all the realms of men and beyond.
Mana Manipulation
Selene has access to dozens of types of mana, elemental or otherwise, some types unique to her [Lunar and/or Moon Mana], some types she can only use because of an item or a wide variety of other things. While not as powerful without spells, her Mana Manipulation abilities are superb. She manipulates her Mana through hand gestures and can manipulate elemental, non-elemental, supernatural, metallic, non-metallic, "good" and "evil" mana through this manner.
Necromancy
Selene Gallio is capable of utilizing necromantic abilities, such as in the case of the Knight-Sorcerers of the long dead Kingdom of Camelot, these seven knights are Wrath, Gluttony, Envy, Lust, Greed, Sloth and Pride. It is believed she intends to build a necromantically risen body out of those she killed with the Knight-Sorcerers being her "Generals" and whatever poor superhumans or other "resources" she picks up on the way being her soldiers.
Life Force Absorption
Kept alive by potent life absorption abilities, Selene can absorb life force within a ten meter radius surrounding her, allowing her to viciously and voraciouslly end the lives of opponents or sustain herself.
Psychic Vampirism
By only absorbing a portion of a being's life force, Selene Gallio can obtain some measure of mental control over them, forcing them to become a psychic vampire much like she, herself, has been for over seventeen thousand years.
Asgardian/Enhanced Physiology
Utilizing her life force to enhance her physical attributes to superhuman levels and her Asgardian blood to enhance it further, Selene Gallio is not only capable of dishing out serious long-ranged damage but can also give our her fair share of physical damage and take it, too. After achieving Godhood, she gained permanent Teleportation abilities, bringing her speed to a 7 on the Power Grid, and she gained a 7 for Strength, Intelligence, Durability and Energy Projection on her power grid.
Superhuman Strength
Capable of putting out far over 8,500 pounds, or 4.25 tons, of force, those who believe that Selena is a glass cannon are grossly underestimating her abilities in close-ranged combat, especially when her sword can put out just as much force as well.
Superhuman Endurance
Asgardian durability and superhuman stamina combine to form an ability of Superhuman Endurance, she is almost completely immune to all but the harshest of pains, such as that of fire melting through one's flesh though her resistance to fire helps with this.
Superhuman Reflexes
One of the fastest reacting beings on the planet, she can literally dodge bullets and detect when danger is nearby or she is being targetted, in fact she has a passive shield of mana clinging to her body like an extra layer of kevlar.
Superhuman Speed
Capable of reaching speeds of 175 miles per hour in a quick burst of speed, while this may age her it is, arguably, still a relatively useful ability that emphasis on her being the queen of Psionic Vampires.
Regenerative Healing Factor
A natural ability only enhanced by her immortal-linked Rapid Healing, this Asgardian ability has been enhanced by mutant abilities, magic and is now capable of being used during combat, reasonably.
Telepathy
Capable of devastating minds, Selene possesses high order telepathy and features a wide range of increasingly potent telepathic abilities honed over several millennia, bringing her to the capability of defending against telekinetic attacks from the likes of Professor Xavier since she has been improving her defenses over millennia, after all, her mind is basically an iron fortress.
Astral Projection
Powerful enough to allow Selene survive astrally projecting her body to almost any point on the planet for communication, espionage or a wide variety of other things, or to be in multiple places at once with her astral body capable of being in up to three places at once, Selene utilizes her telepathically powered Astral Projection for a wide variety of effects.
Psionic Shield
Refined, improved and bolstered ever since she was born over seventeen thousand years ago, Selene Gallio's psionic defenses are not to be triffled with for those that go far too into them get trapped within their labyrinth.
Psi-Bolts
Hypnotic Trance
Momentarily capable of inducing a hypnotic trance, Selene usually utilizes this ability to do something quickly without others knowing or to give the illusion of her body teleporting when used in conjunction with her speed.
Telekinesis
Telekinetic Animation
Inanimate Disintegration
Pyrokinesis
Fire Resistance
Darkforce & Shadow Manipulation
Shadow-Morphing
Weaknesses:
Selene ages as she uses her magical abilities, the more powerful the spell she more/faster she ages, though with the weakest fireballs the aging is negligible. In addition to this her eyes are slightly more sensitive to the light, requiring her to wear sunglasses in brighter conditions. If she doesn't absorb enough life force, AKA; keeps up her absorbed life force in her "reserves", Lady Selene Gallio will age normally. Not the best close-ranged fighter, but still pretty capable. Egotistical to the point she won't back down from a fight, though it may be because she has an ace up her sleeve, it's Selene Gallio... who the hell knows what she'll do next?!
Essentially, overconfidence, cowardice, psychic vampirism, fear of the ugly, beings with invulnerability/enhanced defenses or regenerative healing factors can draw out battles with her.
She's more open to psionic attacks than she lets on and her defenses are used to telepaths of the ancient world, not those of the new realm so they have a good chance against her.
Microwave emissions can block her psionic abilities.
Though there are other means to perform her sorcery, the primary means she uses are incantations and mystical gestures, by being bound and gagged the majority of her power is gone.
She's still capable of taking physical damage, it's just she can regenerate, so people like Wolverine or even Natasha Romanov would be a HUGE issue for her.
She must keep up her reserves of life force since that to support her abilities, sustain herself with the most important thing being keeping her youth. So people like Rogue would be an issue since Selene's level of absorbed life force directly correlates to her power level. It is most likely she is not at full power when you encounter her since sometimes she skips.
Life Force Absorption
Selene's ability to absorb life force not only hurts the enemies of this particular witch but herself as well, with patience playing a huge part in the ability. For instance, while Selene is destroying her opponent's youth, taking it and regaining her own Selene will not be able to immediately return to the age that she desired unless she chooses to gradually drain the targets life force rather than taking it all at once. Both taking it all at once and gradually draining it have their strengths and weaknesses, Selene personally prefers taking it gradually since it means less harm, though if necessary she will take it immediately. An example of this is that Selene wants to drop around ten years off of her pretty, pretty face but to do this Selene would need to, for over the course of an entire year, drain energy from her target with either a lot of it, with Energy Generators possessing more than the usual amount of life force, or someone that regains it quickly, such as those with a regenerative healing factor, or someone who is younger. A tedious task, it is more time consuming than energy consuming and if she could do it the other way it would only take a single day... not an entire year, alas Selene is incapable of doing so.
You see, with Selene's varied, good, bad, quite evident, rapid, slow and anything else you can think of evolving of her abilities, the witch can no longer lose, say, five years by killing/draining a single person in a single moment. Selene would need to kill around a dozen beings, or one with a LOT of energy, and the amount of energy used to do so is so ridiculous it would not only just give her about half of the years she would get gradually with an additional year lost or gained, but she would, in essence, be wasting energy and losing precious control over what she gains or loses. The killing of twenty people would get her ten through twelve years shaved off, and fifteen through eighteen cut off with thirty people. This continues and, at this point, it's so ridiculous that her patience becomes an important virtue, more so than most people as draining twenty people gradually rather than all at once through a single year would get twenty years successfully shaved off of her ever so pretty face. Despite how uncommon it is among vampirism of most kinds, as a Psionic Vampire Selene gains memories from those she absorbs life force from. From those she absorbs life force from gradually, she gradually gains the information and can "sort" through it to pick what she wants, everything from skills to whatever the hell else. On the other hand, if she absorbs life force from them quickly Selene gets everything at once and can't pick what she wants with this occasionally confusing and disorienting her, at times, if it is absorbed from someone with above average intelligence or immense knowledge[such as the elderly or those with eidetic/photographic memories, they gather a lot], she can be knocked unconscious, in other words it's overwhelming.
So, to sum it up, if it's quick she gets skills and the first time they tasted the cupcake along with more life energy, if it's slow she gets the skills first and is able to avoid gaining the memory of the first time they tasted a cupcake.
Psychic Vampirism
Even when she turns someone, there's no guarantee that her fledglings will be bound to her and almost completely under her psionic control. Whether this is through a "fluke" of some kind, immense will power or a type of immunity to her control really depends on the situation and if the turned one is the one who broke themselves free or was even free in the first place. You see, with great amounts of work/will power, the abilities of other, equally or more incredible telepaths or empaths or even things such as love, they can break free. This is almost solely dependent on how long they are in her company.
Physical Enhancements
Unfortunately for Selene, her physical prowess is fully dependent on the level of life force that she has absorbed. Like her life force absorption in general, should Selene absorb ten people at a single time she would find herself at peak performance for, say, only a week before she found herself weaker than before and needing to absorb double the amount of beings to get to the same level. If she is living off someone's life force in smaller bursts, though, Selene is able to find herself within a state of constant but possible mild enhancements for an hour or two before needing to absorb from her prey again, without finding herself weakened and having to absorb double the amount of energy.
Rapid Healing
Easily the most wide reaching weakness in her healing abilities, should Selene not have enough energy or not be continuously draining energy from someone she will not heal rapidly. In addition, as she heals, whether consciously or unconsciously, Selene will lose energy and, therefore, age.
Pyrokinesis
Selene is unable to manipulate fire that she doesn't create, while she is passively resistant to fire due to a thin layer of mana covering her body she couldn't, say, take away control of animal constructs that Pyro himself creates.

Personality:
Deceitful, envious, egotistical and, overall, a total and complete bitch, Selene is fully intent on obtaining Godhood, whatever the means may be and hopes that, eventually, she will be able to fulfill her "destiny". A form of madness has taken root inside of her, it drives her to scheme, to fiendishly abandon what could have been her friends for more powerful allies and, as time goes on, bend the world to her whim. Magic is her only true friend, demons are her subordinates, angels are her toys and mankind is truly something that should fear her, that is what Selene Gallio is. She is the most powerful witch, a potent sorceress and one of the most heniously evil beings that you will set your eye upon. Born from the blood of thousands of innocent children, men and women, including her own mother, Selene was true evil personified, evil with a "great" fashion sense that made her dress like a whore, a very sexy whore nonetheless... but, to each their own, you know?
Believing herself to be, possibly, the most powerful magic user on the planet, Selene Gallio is "slightly" egotistical, with her ego eclipsing that of even the ever well-dressed ally of hers known as Sebastian Shaw. Of course, she's still and expert of magic and she knows it so it's not like it really matters whether or not she thinks she's one of the best since she is one of the best, if not the best magic user on the planet[ahem, Selene, I think you need to realize that just means you're an egomaniac]. Used to a life of luxurious, high class living as a result of living like that ever since caste systems, wealth in general and cliques had existed, the woman is not used to the down-in-the-dump towns of a world of Goth and prefers to reside in... more beautiful places. Her tastes are high-class as well, with her having taken a liking to wine, expensive whiskies, classical music as well as playing instruments such as the violin herself and dozens of other things, Selene is wealthy and prefers to stay that way.
Cunning, ruthless, vile, these are three other major traits that make Selene Gallio who she is, molding her they have brought her from Atlantis, to Camelot, through the Hyborian age, Rome, to modern times. This cunning pushes her to the edge, forcing her true self to come out, forcing her to use that ace hidden in her sleeve [wherever said sleeve is hiding, no one knows, it may have been swallowed by her cape... poor sleeve]. Her ruthlessness has been embedded in her ever since her tribal leaders called for her entire tribe to sacrifice themselves to her, bringing her vileness to rival that of genocidal maniacs who should really be imprisoned.
She carries herself as if she is a Goddess and maybe, just maybe she is.
History:
The magically powerful half-human daughter of the renowned Asgardian God of Mischief, Loki, Sylene became an orphan when her father was exiled to Limbo. After Asgard was destroyed, Sylene set out to forge a new Asgard and replace Earth, ultimately she failed and, ashamed, she made herself forgotten in all minds on Asgard before Sylene ultimately disappeared, for good. Supposedly. Soon she re-arose of Selene Gallio who would become one of the most powerful sorcereresses on the planet and within all of the realms, her power ultimately eclipsed that of the original Asgardian magic she possessed and soon the Black Queen was born... but we will get to that later, now we move onto the story of Selene Gallio, starting from before she went to Asgard with her human family.
Born over seventeen thousand years ago into the Hyborian Age to a young human mother "After Atlantis was Swallowed by the Oceans" and "Before the Rise of the Sons of Aryas", in central Europe. Unfortunately her mother would not live to see Selene speak her very first words as the Elders of her Tribe ordered all to sacrifice themselves to Selene, therefore giving the child her first taste of the force of life and her name. An old enemy of the sorcerer Kulan Gath, Red Sonja had, apparently, managed to kill him and so his spirit would not arise until the modern age. So yes, Selene as active at least as early as the Hyborian Age of mankind when "man and civilization were still young", in essence she has been walking this world for Millennia, growing in power as one of the immortals of man.
When the time of the Roman Empire approached, Selene had set her eye on Senator Eliphas who was used by many others like Selene Gallio, but far from her, of course for their own benefit. She came before him, offering him eternal love and the chance to be an immortal like her, if he helped her sacrifice the countless souls of Rome. The thousands of souls that she would feed on would allow the witch to become as powerful as a God. Her pawn was instructed to draw symbols around the city in his own blood for the ritual. However Eliphas, made a small act of compassion by telling a slave girl he gave ruby earring to about what was going to occur. When her father informed the authorities and they captured both Eliphas and Selene so that they may burn at the stake. Selene, awakening before this could happen, turned the flame against those who had set it and, furious at Eliphas for seemingly betraying the witch, Selene took his life-force and turned him into a vampiric creature, swearing he would never see her again.
During the modern age, Selene created the realm of Nova Roma within Brazil, bringing outsiders to the Ancient Roman Colony, her so-called paradise, and confusing them to the point that they believed she was its queen, psionically. Eventually she was pushed out by the New Mutants but soon returned to claim her rightful place as ruler of the city-state of Nova Roma, what... Goddesses can have countries too, can't they? Intrigued by the display of abilities by the New Mutants, Selene set out for New York City, home of villainous crazies and heroic wack jobs from all over.
Happening upon Rachel Summers in New York City after sensing her immense power, Selene intended to absorb her life force but was prevented by doing so because of those damned X-Men. Soon after, Selene got "curious" again and this time had become interested in the Hellfire Club and tried to join them. She defeated and captured Magma and Rachel Summers, offering them as gifts to the Hellfire Club Selene was allowed to join as the Black Queen even though Magma and Rachel Summers were rescued by the X-Men... again.
After Kulan Gath transformed all of Manhattan into a Hyborian Age land, Selene managed to remain unaffected by the sorcerer's dark spell. Then revealed was the fact she was indeed an old enemy of Gath and that the two had feueded long ago in the actual Hyborian age, Gath basically created a rip off. Selene's spells caused Storm and Callisto to remember Gath as an enemy and, eventually, he was defeated... blah, blah, blah, the X-Men save the day and Selene ruins her "good" image by doing awful things, like feasting on children, seriously, she does that.
Rachel Summers plotted to kill Selene and the rest of the Hellfire Club [gasp, could it truly be... Rachel Summers, a sociopath!? Yes, yes it can truly be, her entire family is full of hot headed superheroes intent on creating dripping buckets that rain down Omega level and Alpha level mutants!], after gaining the memories of the Phoenix Force which she, of course, though to be her mother's memories. Having drained the X-Men's life forces[bah, damned Summers stole my I, mean,-erm, Selene's thing] temporarily to battle the Beyonder, she accidently drew the spirit of Wolverine into her dreams where he learned of Rachel's intentions. Rachel confronted Selene in her room at the club and was about to kill her when Wolverine interferred, he attempted to talk her down but eventually he just had to use those large, pointy things in between his knuckles in the heart[no, she didn't die, none of the damned Summers EVER seem to die, I can't kill them, no one can, for God's sake Jean-Grey was stuck in a stupid psionic cacoon at the bottom of a LAKE, a CACOON], claws, yeah, claws... and forever I-erm, I mean Selene was humiliated... but no one remembers that so it's fine.
Joined by the "sexually crazed deviant" Sebastian Shaw[it's his pet name, I assure you it's not an insult but a pet name... because we-erm, Selene and him "truly do like" each other.], fat man Harry Leland and the hairy Friedrich von Roehm, Selene had sought revenge for Rachel's attack [revenge, revenge, it's a bittersweet thing... which is why I prefer seeking out the infinitely sweeter sense of Godhood. Of course, it's revenge so when it comes around I always go for it! I mean, Selene, yes, Selene, not I]. And yay, the X-Men and Hellfire Club encountered one another in Central Park, the two groups clashed and even though the Hellfire club was outnumbered by the heroes Selene proved herself by disintegrating Rogue's gloves just as she tried to save Colossus from Leland's density-alterating ability [though she could have simply killed her, but, you know, it's the story]. And tada, to the surprise of both teams the time displaced mutant-hunter known as Nimrod[Storm would've turned him into a lightning rod] and egotistically declared that we, I mean, all present were "viable targets".
So, I said, "I'll show you viable targets" and we proceeded to kick its ass in the following manner; asking for a temporary truce to defeat Nimrod, knowing that both teams could not defeat the mutant-hunter alone, Storm failed in convincing von Roehm and he proceeded to attack the X-Men but was almost immediately vaporized by Nimrod, Nightcrawler was shocked and Shaw launched into the upper atmosphere. By combining their efforts, the Hellfire Club and the X-Men were able to defeat Nimrod with Leland altering the Shaw's orbit-bound course with Selene animating power cables to restrain the approaching Sentinel. Exhausted, Leland died and Shaw probably landed somewhere in the Atlantic, probably... or on top of a sharp and pointy building, but you know. Even with Sebastian having smashed into Nimrod at terminal velocity and the X-Men known as the Wolverine ready to strike, Nimrod managed to teleport to safety. The two groups parted and were now willing to cooperate in the future, both sides seeing how beneficial it was, though they would still clash.
Thought to be the only remaining member of the powerful immortal mutants known as the Externals, Selene personally drained the life force from and killed possibly all the others. Later on, Selene, with demonic help, attempted to reform her Inner Circle and clashed with Storm's X-Men.
Eliphas, now known as Eli Bard, had been searching the world for Selene despite the curse she had placed on him. Eventually, he found her in Nova Roma but was too scared to approach her empty handed. The man planned on completing her plan from a few thousand years ago, by sacrificing the thousands of purifiers for her. Changing his plan once he took note of the Technarcy's ability to reanimate dead mutants, he resurrected an Apache tribe he killed many decades ago including Caliban who be presented to Selene as a gift, which she glady accepted.
To help her collect all of the deceased mutants within the world and claim their souls, she recruited mutants with exceptionally lethal abilities including Wither, Senyaka, Blink, Mortis and, of course, Eliphas. Her little group travelled around the world, reanimating long dead friends and foes of the X-Men before journeying finally to Genosha where sixteen million mutants had been killed by the Wild Sentinels sent by Cassandra Nova.
"And soon, I shall burn this world."
Be aware I don't always write like this, I just wanted to do something new!
A chinese woman sat across from the ever so excited Steve Rogers in his favorite cafe, the name escaped her at the moment. Simpering and giggling while simultaneously tantalizing his senses, her touch sent a jolt racing down his spine, her rose-like scent intoxicated him, the sight of her utter beauty, her innocence did the same, the taste of food that suddenly tasted better in every way, "and they say I can't cook, heh", pulled him in. She had him right in the palm of her hand.
"For all he does, you'd at least expect him to not be so clueless when it came to women. Then again, I have been doing this around seventeen millennia before he was in diapers." She thought to herself, keeping a smile on her cherry red lips before rising up and pulling out her credit card to pay, instead he pulled out his wallet, flashed an ever charming smile, "bah, Charmings, that idiot prince, his wife and their children all need to die... but does he ever? No," and simply said...
"I'll pay for it." The Captain, yes, yes she knew who he was, why do you think she was here? Anyways, the Captain of America, or whatever his name was, paid for it as if it was a little nothing but to her characte-erm, I mean her, it was more important than that. He got up and brushed off his jeans, a nervous habit of his she was going to mess since he wouldn't be a pet, more like something the Avengers would want to get rid of as quickly as possible... then he'd be a pet, an undead pet for her undead army, well, a soldier, actually a "Captain". "Yes, child, even the undead have a hierarchy. Haven't you ever heard of HYDRA? They keep on coming back, it must be some undead Hydra of some sort that, even after death, resurrects itself. I kid of course, I know perfectly who they are and I haven't been in stasis for two centuries."
"Aw, thank you. You're such a gentleman." Selene, I mean, Chishiki said her smile exuberant and even more intoxicating than the drugs she had put in his drink... though she was sure they wouldn't down him she at least had to try, right? I mean, come on, he's... he's... well, "whatever his name or alias is I'm sure I at least had to try, all I know is that he's special to these lovely Avengers and they wouldn't want him turned into a... monster".
"I'll drive you home. Where'd you say you lived again?" Rogers asked, eyes glinting with curiosity and a slight lust for her form.
"Oh, I-I live at Twenty First Elm Street." She smiled happily, a giggle coming from her lips while Rogers laughed too... apparently it's something men do these days so she took advantage of it.
On the ride to the road, Rogers kept on asking her for directions and she had seemingly fallen unconscious. Eventually, he resorted to calling that bitc-erm, I mean, I mean she means, to calling that absolutely wonderful and not a total pain in her arse person Romanov... so close to Roma Nova, but apparently her name isn't a rip off.
"Did you say 21st Elm Street, we have that?" Romanov asked, but was cut off from asking me what the hell kind of game I was playing... I mean, from asking the crazy woman what the hell kind of game she was playing, whether or not she is talking about herself is a point I will try to clarify later but she didn't say it so meh.
"Well, looks like I got two new toys. Lupus est homo ex convertimus te! From man to wolf, I turn you! And yes, that means when the full moon comes you will turn into adorable little puppies." The two Avengers in front of her looked at her oddly until they noticed the glowing purple spheres around her form, that seemed to have a canine's eyes and the cloudy substance inside of the "eyes" irisis eerily looked like a wolf held against the moon, that 'wooshed' into their bodies.
"Shit," Romanov said before pulling out her pistol.
"Sorry darling too late." She disappeared, "and I'd say you dress like a whore but apparently I dress like a whore. Can you believe that?"
"Yes, I can you crazy bitch!" Romanov snapped, fortunately for Selene she was far, far away.

The silver two foot long Tanto she possesses is held to her body with a simple, silk piece of fabric wrapped around her right leg, it is held within its holster to keep it from cutting her.
