Lyta's head jerked up when Kaileena started talking to her. "No, I like it. I like it a lot and everything. It's just..." She quietly sat on the bed next to Kaileena, looking down at the stuffed animal still in her arms. The little goddess fidgeted a little before finally answering her sister. "I wanted to give this to you so you wouldn't be lonely or anything, but you... you can make all this stuff, so you probably don't need it." Lyta herself was still learning her magic, and while she could destroy things, view things from a distance, and teleport short distances, creating objects out of nothing was something she wasn't excelling at currently. She cherished her toys because she couldn't make new ones, but why would Kaileena want something when she could make ten of the exact same thing in the blink of an eye?
"She's an added addition, yes, but even with her here, we'll make our own future," Circe reassured Zarda. That wasn't to say she wouldn't enjoy having a family with her in the future, but she certainly wasn't going to stress it right now. "Being a father is not so different from being a warrior. You still guard and protect, and you still make sure the things you love are safe. I wasn't the best mother when I first started out, and I had no one to teach me when I had my first children." Yes, she had her attendants to help, but it was still a learning experience.
"Thankfully, she has skipped the most difficult parts of childhood. And you are both on the same level of sorts; you don't know her and her father disappeared when she was young. Start things out slowly and calmly, find common interests, and let it go from there." As much as Circe would have loved to take Zarda away from the action, the 'something' they would likely end up doing involved the bedroom, and the goddess wasn't exactly in the mood for sex. So, taking her hand, Circe led Zarda to Kaileena's doorway, just to watch her children interact.
