Being blessed by the gods and a daughter of Zeus, Diana possesses divine abilities, and a heightened resistance to magical attacks. The following are a list of her Divine abilities:
• Superhuman Speed& Flight: Blessed by Hermes. Diana was made to be faster than Hermes himself, Wonder Woman is even fast enough to easily keep up with the Flash. Wonder Woman is capable of unassisted flight through an as yet unknown but probably magical means. Her aerial manoeuvrability is not as developed as other natural aerial combatants like Hawkman or the Black Condor, but she is still a relatively capable fighter in the air. Diana is capable of travelling at speeds greater than escape velocity. She has been clocked at Mach 5 (hyper-sonic) traveling in sustained flight and can go much faster if need be.
• Superhuman Durability: Blessed by Demeter (Goddess of the Earth), Diana, possesses a high resistance to damage and magical attacks. Her resistance to injury is not quite 100% though. She can withstand considerable bludgeoning damage even from metahuman opponents such as Superman and Captain Marvel. She has considerable resistance to human weaponries, though she is not impervious to all; Bullets can cause minor to moderate injury, but never life threatening. And her ability to heal rapidly, makes up for this set back. She can easily survive under extreme pressures, cold, and heat. Diana has been able to traverse space, undergo submergence into lava, and withstand a direct explosion from a nuclear warhead unharmed. She is highly experienced in battling foes who use sorcery as a weapon. As a divine being herself, she is far-less susceptible to manipulation by magic and mental attack. She is also capable of holding her breath under water, for hours on end.
• Superhuman Reflexes: Gifted by Hermes (God of Messengers). Diana possesses reflex abilities similar to speedsters, such as Jesse Quick and Max Mercury, and has been noted as being faster than Superman. She is able to keep up with Jesse Quick with ease, referencing her patron deity of speed and messenger of the gods, Hermes, as the source of her powers. Diana's reflexes are far beyond the limitations of the finest human athletes. She has been able to react to a barrage of gunfire from multiple opponents at once unharmed.
• Superhuman Stamina: Diana possesses superhuman stamina, rarely getting tired. She can last a great deal of time in any fight and with virtually anyone. She has held her own in combat with foes as powerful as a Doomsday clone. She doesn't tire out as quickly as most since her body produces the means to counter act lactic acid build up in her muscles and her connection with the earth seems to speed up that process of rejuvenation.
• Enhanced Healing: Granted by Demeter (Goddess of Earth) Diana has a connection to the earth itself. She is constantly renewing herself, allowing her to quickly heal mild to moderate injuries at an amazing rate. Her normal regenerative abilities allow her to recover from injury within seconds to minutes. She possesses an incredible immunity from poisons, toxins, as well as disease. In rare cases where she was gravely injured or where another has managed to severely poison her, Diana has the ability to physically merge with the Earth, causing whatever injuries or poisons to be expelled from her body as she regenerates and heals. Because of her constant healing and rejuvenation, Diana does not age like a regular human and is much older than she looks. Being the daughter of a god grants her a degree of immortality.
• Superhuman Agility: Diana's agility is far beyond that of even an Olympic level athlete, as is her balance and coordination.
• Enhanced Senses: Gifted by Artemis (Goddess of the Hunt), all of Diana's five senses are at superhuman level. She also possess the "Hunters Eye" which allows her to rarely miss her mark.
• Oneness With Fire: Blessed by Hestia (Goddess of the Hearth) Diana has a oneness with fire that makes her a focus of truth and immune to both natural and unnatural (magical) fires.
• Empathy: Granted by Athena. (Goddess of Wisdom) "The Sight of Athena", increases Diana's insight allowing her to detect others' emotions, making her immune to most forms of mind control and illusions. Even other high-level telepaths will have an exceedingly difficult time attempting to read her mind.
• Animal Communication/empathy: Granted by Artemis (Goddess of the Hunt). Diana is gifted with a unity with beasts giving her the ability to communicate with all forms of animals and her presence alone can bring a raging beast to a calm standstill. She is also able to directly command wild animals when needed. She used bald eagles to distract Superman after defeating him in battle once.
• Magic Resistance: Granted by All Five Goddesses and Hermes. Wonder Woman is very resistant to magic attacks and is effective against her foes which use magic as their main power.
• Magic Lightning: A daughter of Zeus, Diana is able to emit a devastating magic lightning attack from her bracelets do to their links with Zeus. This attack can even strike Gods and Goddesses down with a powerful strike, and this attack can even work underwater.

What's hidden behind the mask:
Personality:
Diana possesses a confident and almost regal air about her, she is serious minded and outspoken with a strong sense of justice and fairness. She has a commanding presence about her that to some may consider intimidating, however with a disarming smile she can allay any fears of her being a domineering authoritarian. Diana is in fact a friendly, compassionate and caring individual with a strong sense of morality and honesty. She is approachable and amicable with everyone unless they give her reason to be otherwise.
Despite being serious minded Diana does know how to have fun and she does like to enjoy herself from time to time, but there is a time and a place for everything. She is wise and diplomatic often weighing the options before speaking and considers all the angles as her mentor Athena had always advised her to do. But everyone has their Achilles heel and for Diana it is her temper. In general Diana is easy going, kind and considerate but she isn't one to give in to rudeness, overly aggressive behaviour or otherwise unfriendly individuals. She has a great amount of patience but even this Themyscrian princess has her limits. It takes a lot to rile her however once provoked enough her anger can be absolute. This anger of hers does not always present itself in a fiery rage though, it can also be a cold, cunning and calculated anger depending on the situation; it isn't always about knocking things down with a punch.
Diana is stalwart and resolute, dedicated and dependable. She is a pillar of strength and she stands by her convictions, however this also means that Diana can be stubborn at times. If ever there was a trait that aids as much as hinders Diana, it this is the one. The flip side of being of a strong will is its propensity to also be stubborn. Once set on a course of action, the gods themselves cannot dissuade her. She has defied her mother, gods and goddesses alike, and the laws of space and time in order to achieve the things she sets her mind and heart to. She has a deep and abiding sense of justice and morality, and at times in the past the ends have justified the means, despite the risks.
Focused and determined, Diana also possesses a healthy amount of competitiveness. Because she is always wanting to be the best in everything she does, Diana is constantly pushing and striving to improve herself. She gives everything she has to a chosen task and refuses to accept defeat in a situation. Even during the times of her life when she has been beaten or down and out, she never gave up. She used that as a means to focus herself to become better and it was only a matter of time before she recuperated and came back with a vengeance. While a healthy competitive spirit can be an asset, when it comes to Diana it is also a detriment that can be used against her. This is not to say she is a 'bad sport' in any sense of the word, because she isn't but failure isn't something she accepts lightly and it is difficult for her to back down from a challenge.
History:
Tricked into a union with Zeus, Father of gods and men, Hippolyta, Queen of the Amazons, became pregnant. Fearing the wrath of Hera upon her and her as of yet unborn child, the Amazonian queen hid herself deep within the caves of Paradise Island so as to be away from Zeus' sight and notice as she hid her pregnancy from all. Hippolyta prayed to Aphrodite who was the patron goddess of the Amazons, who then answered the queen's prayers by entreating goddesses she knew would be sympathetic to Hippolyta's plight. There deep within the Cavern of Souls she gave birth to a baby girl before the goddesses Aphrodite, Demeter, Athena, Artemis, Hestia and the god Hermes; each one of them bestowing their blessings and gifts upon the child. The goddess Demeter granted Diana the power and strength like that of the Earth giving Diana inhuman strength, durability, a means to heal quickly and a oneness with the earth. Aphrodite gave Diana great beauty and a loving heart which is the root of Diana's compassion. Athena granted Diana her god-like wisdom, insight, and empathy. Artemis gave Diana the eyes of the hunter and a unity with beasts. Hestia granted Diana the sisterhood with great fire and truth that may open men's hearts to her. And the god Hermes bestowed upon Diana godlike speed and the power of flight. With the naming and blessing of the gods, Diana princess of the Amazons was born but knowing the wrath of Hera, it was advised by Athena that Diana's true lineage be hidden from all including Diana herself and thus the myth of the 'clay statue' was devised. Exiting the cave with the child and the gods that blessed her, gave credence to the incident and helped to propagate the myth of the clay child brought to life by the gods.
Growing up Diana was afforded all the education and training befitting a princess of Themyscria though her early vigor and strength in battle drew the attention of Ares who began to train the young Amazon in secret with hopes to one day turn her into a battle queen as he prepared her for the day when she would rule Themiyscria for it was a glorious visage Ares had of using the Amazons as Maidens of War. She had a warrior's spirit and competitiveness as well as a fire in her eyes when she fought that Ares thought to stoke and nurture. Their relationship was like a father-daughter one however Diana was not so easily swayed and while she did have that warrior's fire it was tempered with the wisdom of Athena and Ares soon learned that Diana had her own mind and a moral conduct she followed leaning more towards the side of peaceful resolutions to conflict and a tactical /strategic approach to things. They parted ways when Diana, tasked by Ares to slay the Minotaur refused to kill it. The show of mercy made the young girl a failure in Ares' eyes and weak for her inability to kill the beast.
As she grew so too did her divine abilities but always her mother would caution her from using them and instead instructed her on holding back. Even if the Amazons already knew and accepted her as blessed by the gods, Hippolyta did not want to draw any unwanted attentions to Diana in the form of Hera or Zeus and so during her childhood Diana was always taught to control and reign in her abilities and never shine through. However just past the age of puberty more of Diana's godlike abilities started to fully manifest and it was too much for her to control including lightning bolts that would come out of nowhere emanating from the young girl and it was starting to become exceedingly dangerous and the manifestation of these new abilities were beginning to consume her. Noticing the anomaly on Paradise Island Zeus himself came down and upon laying eyes on the young girl knew her to be one of his own and as such used his Aegis shield to craft for her a pair of indestructible vembraces to keep her divine abilities in check. Her powers are too great for her partially mortal body to contain and as such her bracelets must constantly be worn or else she runs the risk of letting abilities consume her and ultimately drive her into a berserker rage. The vembraces/bracelets are essentially what protects Diana and her opponents from her intense divine power.
And with her divinity once more hidden Diana continued on to live among her Amazonian sisters in peace until it was that the world of Man found its way to the Amazons. A young pilot Steve Trevor was flying over the invisible island and hand to do an emergency landing. Hippolyta held tournament which was a series of tests for her Amazons and the Champion would be the one to return the American fighter pilot back to the United States. Diana was forbidden by her mother to participate in the tournament, but headstrong Diana rebelled and snuck in, disguising herself to win the contest. She took Steve Trevor back to the US, and they eventually teamed up to fight against Ares when he began to wreak havoc on the earth. Diana decided to stay in the world of man, to be an ambassador of Themyscira and also the protector of the weak and helpless. During her initial stay she befriended a Harvard professor, Dr. Julia Kapatelis, and her daughter,Vanessa Kapatelis, as well as the Air Force Officer Etta Candy who Diana met through Steve Trevor which she kept contact with and befriended as well. Soon Diana of Thmyscira became the hero known as Wonder Woman and after many years of protecting the weak, she became a founding member of the Justice League along with Batman and Superman. But life did not get easier.
Hera eventually learned of Diana's true lineage and the goddess set into motion the means for a very powerful sorceress to learn about the existence of a young woman named 'Diana of Themyscria' who could bring about Hectate's prophecy and undo all. Now enter the War of the Gods where Diana was summoned up to Mount Olympus and the gods announced to her that something was terribly wrong. After fighting as the Greek's champion against the Roman gods' champion, Diana was then sent down o the bowels of the earth; to the tomb of Cronus. Her doppleganger formed of clay and given similar abilities by the same five gods that bestowed their blessings on Diana, did so once more in an effort to fool the powerful sorceress Circe who had begun to unleash chaos into the world.
Diana's clay clone battled against the powerful sorceress and was unraveled back into clay by the sorceress' magic only for the witch to realize that the prophecy had not come to pass and realizing that she was tricked was then lured by Diana and her friends into a battle within the Cave of Souls where the final battle took place within the 'Tomb of Cronus' and after a grueling battle with the sorceress, Diana managed to defeat her and then helped end the War of the Gods and the earth and its people once more safe. So here Diana remains with the Justice League helping to fight and protect earth's inhabitants from threats both foreign and domestic.

Two hours away from the hustle and bustle of the metropolitan life. Time seemed to move slower here; a nice change of pace. Diana looked out at the grand vista before her. It was hard not to be at peace when you stood atop the summit of a mountain, tendrils of her dark hair rose and danced upon the pockets of wind current as her she took in the beauty of the scene before her; the high alpine terrain, crisp blue sky, fluffly cumulous clouds in the distance, wicked fall lines huge cliff jumps, tight chutes and steep powder stashes. Some down time was what she was told to take, a 24 hour leave to decompress and recharge the batteries, true she could have spent time with family or friends maybe someone from the League; Kal, Bruce, Wally, Hal. But sometimes one just wanted to be alone. So instead she sought out the solitude of the Catskills for a little backcountry skiing on the side of the mountain called Hunter West. The place was one of the highest summits and little direct exposure to the sun. It was also the most windy and the coldest part of the ski area, and it wasn’t uncommon for conditions to be very icy, like it was now and why very few people went down this route. She was never a trick skier and just liked carving the backcountry negotiating through nature’s trails and hurdles like she was doing now.
The Amazon raced around the bend and at the fork, veered left towards her selected course a double black known as Annapurna. A smile creased her lips as she carved through the snow It was a precarious game she played teetering just on the edge of control with the slick surface provided her with the speed she craved as it made for a wilder ride. She Eurocarved a tight turn hard cutting it, getting way up on the edge as she leaned her body almost parallel to the ground, her fingers curled as knuckles gripped the handles of her ski poles tightly as she skimmed the snowy surface
WHOOOSH!!
Diana raced down even faster now luxuriating in the feel of adrenaline's rush, the crisp scent of winter and the view of the alpine terrain as she shredded down the backcountry. Then came a large kicker, and she was momentarily airborne. Her hair flared as she landed and sprayed out some snow as she eked out a landing, the wind kicking up the dark tendrils wildly. It couldn’t have been a more perfect moment, the perfect day, clear crisp winter, sun shining brightly, clean untouched snow and the fresh scent of winter. But the purity and sanctity of the moment was soon to be disturbed by the familiar voice resonating in her communicator which told her that her 24 hour leave was about to be cut short.
"Watchtower to Wonder Woman."
"I am skiing J'onn."
"Apologies, but we need you on this one." came the reply. "Hostage situation involving a runaway train with humans, mutant terrorists and possibly a demi-god involved."
“Do we know who they are exactly?”
“No, we don’t have much Intel to go by at the moment though Batman is down there now talking to NYPD. He requested that you meet up with him and the Flash who should be en route there now. Batman requested that he be contacted as soon as you are incoming...The three of you are to see about stopping that train and extricating any possible hostages.”
There never really would be a day to herself, for in the end she was what she was; a woman, the daughter of a god and an Amazonian queen, whose first breath was drawn with the blessings of the great Olympic gods. Princess by birth, Ambassador of her nation, and a superhero in the eyes of the world. She fights for truth, justice, and the Amazon way but she is not a totalitarian for she is aware that hers is not the only way and all she offered was the message of peace and the protection for those unable to protect themselves.
"Very well. If the gods are kind it will end without further incident or blood shed." she replied then felt the familiar sensation of being Teleported.
