That was odd - like many things by now - so far sh believed Onyx was just hanging around in the school. Now, these theories quickly shattered as the wind changed its direction. So, nurturing youngling for a better cause was her hobby which was great thing to do, although, on the other hand, it just didn't change the fact that Onyx was a tutor. However, being someones pupil felt like being a guinea pig under observation. Not Mina's liking, she worked far too long on escape routes and emergency plans how to got out of class and it was too late to change the policies.
Despite all that, her curiosity got a hold of her. There always been forces guiding her and just like some cheap conspiracy's victim she usually fell into it. It wasn't nice to turn an invitation down, but the underground dungeons didn't sound very romantic or inviting for that matter. However, the chance to learn something new from a different perspective or just to the fun of picking up something it might worth the sweat. If not, well, at least she tried.
The way that stone was treated reminded her some awful movie she saw last night. She had to hand it to Onyx she sure was one piece of work, that boulder didn't bothered anyone and apparently that was going to stay that way. Mina didn't approved the use of brute force, but sure it came handy on occasions, seeing a little more of it from safe distance couldn't hurt and in the meantime, they could get to know each other better.
"Fine, we can go if you want it so much, but don't expect too much from me. I'm not much of a fighter myself. Though a little exercise might do me some good, I feel a little rusty anyway."
Mina stopped, waited for a moment to turn back, then when Onyx felt it was time she turned back to school to walk there. A quick look at the rock that just a minute ago went tumbling down and she shook her head to scare away her worries. One of those punchs would be pretty, not to think of the pain. Was Mina sure about doing this? If her companion made a mistake that could end up badly, but what was the good life without tempting fate? Besides, they had all that safety protocol for practice, they just needed to follow the rules.
"Thanks, I think I take your offer, but how do you intend to start? A little warm up and go on with the usual training or you have something else in mind?"
