Twelve hours ago at the edge of Earth's solar system, the space ship known as the Starjammer slides in from hyperspace. The Starjammer, a highly advanced Shi'ar space ship glistening in the light of the stars calmly floats in deep space.
Slowly from the underside of the space vessel, a metallic sliding port opens up and in a flash, three singular manned escape pods blast out like torpedo's into the solar system we all know and love. Each pod resembles a highly advance space fighter jet as they blast towards earth.
Within each pod contains a singular occupant, first the red headed Rachel Summers also known as the second Marvel Girl and the third Phoenix. Second, the green haired daughter of Magneto, Lorna Dane who goes by the handle of Polaris and lastly the blonde haired Summers brother, Alex Summers who is known on Earth and now throughout spaces deepest galaxies as Havok. Havok, in his time in space had grown his hair down to his shoulders and allowed his beard to scruff out more then anyone is used to seeing on him. However he still wears the familiar energy containment suit which has been a staple of his life ever since Alex was a teen and cosmic energies began emanating from his body without control.
Alex allowed the space shuttle to auto pilot itself into Earths orbit as he relaxed as much as he could. It had been 20 months in outer space leading a group of space pirates against one of the largest ruling group in all of space the Shi'ar. Lives had been lost and Alex battled his brother Gabriel tooth and nail and had even been tortured in his time in space. The thought of going 'home' was a welcomed idea, however there was nothing to truly come home to.
After spending nearly two years in the Starjammer together, Alex, Rachel and Lorna decided to go their separate ways while arriving to Earth. They had been so close together for so long, It would be nice for them to get a sabbatical from eachother as much as it would be to get out of deep space where they never really belonged in the first place.
"Entering Earth's atmosphere Mr. Summers. Destination?" a mechanical AI voice asked Alex inside the space pod. Alex's back got rigid as he leaned down to pick up his brown leather jacket and began to put it on over his containment suit. He was buying time as he realized he had no true destination once he was on Earth, but he couldn't lap the planet forever. The pod needed a destination. "Xavier's Institute for Higher Learning." He blurted out thinking about all the chaos that place brings. However Xavier's also fills his heart with the presence of friends and family he will see once again. "Approaching destination: Xavier's Institute for Higher Learning" The AI voice said once again as the small ship slowed down to almost a hover as it went under the clouds and slowly descended into the open back yard of the school.
Alex knew that someone like Beast that sits by the school's tech 24/7 had already discovered the approaching alien ship and had alerted the X-Men. For obvious reason's the hangar was not opened for the ship to land inside, but Alex also knew the X-Men would not shoot first and ask questions later so he felt safe enough about landing down in the back yard of the school and knew that the welcome wagon would be coming.
With a release of pressure the cockpit opened up as fresh air hit Alex's face for the first time in almost two years. He closed his eyes and smiled as he reached down and released the safety belt and pulled himself out of the space craft. As his boot touched down on the freshly cut grass he reached up and pulled his cowl down allowing it to hang behind his neck and his long blonde hair fall to his shoulders. "Here we go..." he said softly to himself as he prepared for whatever was to happen next.
