"Good." Hal turned his head back, so he was once again looking out in front of himself, making it easier to avoid asteroids and other debris. It was a good thing that the rings were nolonger on a time-set power supply, since it made it easier to commute between Earth and Oa, without having to stop on a planet or space station to recharge. Especially when he was transporting a prisoner.
The trip only took three hours, with his ring at 78% capacity, when they finally reached their destination. There were Green Lanterns fling all around them, as well as a Guardian and small space vehicle, some giving the Earthman wearied looks. It would seem that some of his fellow Corps members still didn't trust him, after the Parallax incident, even after the Guardians themselves assured them that he had been possessed. It was a pain, but he was beyond trying to change their minds, so he flew past them, ignoring the glares, as he made his way to the Science Cells. "A piece of advice, prisoner. Ignore the stares and don't mouth off to anyone. Since you look human, most of these guys will be looking for any reason to pick a fight with you, even though you're separated by energy fields and reinforced steel walls." The cells may have only housed a single prisoner at a time, but Hal knew that a single, human hating Green Lantern might take an opportunity to 'accidentally' leave to cell doors, open.
He sent the bubble into the empty cell, before the force-field door activated, and said bubble disappeared. "I'll request permission to be one of your escorts, when you go before the Guardians, in a bit." He then turned and flew out of the prison block, and headed for the Guardians' Citadel, where they should be waiting for him, not that he planned to wait for conformation. That would just have been far to boring and mundane, to suit Hal Jordan's taste, so four minutes later, he just flew into the large yellow building, creating a large green hand to push the main double doors open. As he expected, the Guardians were none to please with that. "Green Lantern Hal Jordan, you have yet to be summoned by the Council, and yet to barge in here, as though we are at your beck and call." Not skipping a beat, he flashed them his cockiest smile, before responding. "My apologies, Masters, but I felt urgency was in order, given the atmosphere around here."
The Guardians were well aware of how humans were viewed on Oa, since the reforming of the Corps, though most of the newer recruits were a bit more excepting of the Earth Lanterns, there were still a number that held onto their grudges. Though the Guardians weren't fond of humans either, infact they considered them to be no different that neanderthals despite all they had accomplished in the last few centuries. Still, they didn't want any fights or violence to disrupted their Utopia, so they were quick to stomp out fights and all other chaos that interfered with their order. While one guardian was quick to use his mental powers to close the doors, insuring their meeting wouldn't be interrupted, Boodika and the other Alphalanterns made sure to stay within hearing range, determined to monitor every word, in case Hal stepped out of line. A very vague line, in everyone's eye, but the Alphalanterns.
Meanwhile, hearing about Hal's arrival from Salakk, Kilowog, Arisia, and Tomar-Tu quickly made their way to the Science Cells, just incase Hal's fear came true. "He looks like an Earthman, but the records can't seem to identify his species. Strange." Tomar stated, as the three of them floated outside of the alien's cell, their presence serving as more of a deterrent, than anything else.
