Peter Parker was bored. High above the streets of New York the web slinger had been jumping from buildings and had been web slinging on the look out for any kind of crime he could foil. Nothing. It was a Monday night. It seemed like all the criminals actually understood that it they did something on a Monday night the bored cops and superheroes would crack down on them. Peter sighed. It had been three hours since he had left his apartment. Watching paint dry was more fun than this boring night. Unconsciously, Spider-Man was slinging to a spot in the city where he went to clear his mind.
With a powerful yank on his web, Spider-Man was able to launch himself into the air. He did two front flips before landing on the stony edge. He looked to his right and of course... tall, dark, and mysterious was sitting there avoiding his gaze.
"Bruce, you know how much I hate that you don't look at me when I am talking to you."
He knew he wasn't going to get a response because, well... Bruce was a gargoyle. That's right, Spider-Man talks to a gargoyle.
"You seem lonely tonight, Bruce. That's okay. I'm pretty lonely myself. Nothing to do tonight is a surprise. A peaceful night in New York. Who would have thought, right? I need a life."
The stony gargoyle kept staring straight ahead.
"I have so many problems going on with trying to get a life as regular Peter Parker that makes me frustrated. I feel lucky that I can get away as Spider-Man. But you know what Bruce? I really don't feel like talking right now."
Now back to he task at hand he edged over the ledge he was crouched on then purposely lunged downward in a forward free falling from stories above then spinning up in a single somersault he shot a webline to the building side meters away before swinging for his patrol
"Ok it's my last day of summer and I could use some action bout now"
