Powers
Extended Longevity: Thanks to Nick Fury and his Infinity Formula, Bucky's longevity and his aging process has been enchanced.
Bionic Arm:
Superhuman Strength: Has some degree of superhuman strength in his bionic arm.
Enhanced Reaction Time: His arm's reaction time is greater than that of any Olympic athlete who has and will ever compete.
Sensory Array: The arm houses different sensors which allow him to pass through security such as metal detectors without setting them off. It can also shield other metallic objects from detection such as firearms and knives.
Extended Reach: He can apparently either control his bionic arm even if it has been removed from his body (possibly by cybernetic implants), or his arm can be programmed to perform certain actions on its own while removed from his body.
Electrical Discharge: He can discharge bolts of electrical energy from his arm's palm.
EMP: He can discharge an EMP rendering electronic devices useless. He failed to use it on a prepared Iron Man.
Master Martial Artist: Barnes is a dangerously skilled martial artist and hand-to-hand combatant. He received training from World War Two hand-to-hand combat luminaries William Essart Fairbairn and Colonel Rex Applegate as well as Captain America (Steve Rogers) in multiple martial arts, and acrobatics as a teenager during WWII and was trained in more of them while being molded into an assassin by the Soviet Union.
Expert Marksman: He is an extremely accurate marksman. Skilled in sharpshooting and knife throwing.
Skilled Shield Fighter: Barnes is becoming rapidly proficient with his former partner's shield. He is able to throw it with near perfect aim striking multiple targets in a single throw and achieving a boomerang-like return after throwing it at single person or object.
Skilled Acrobat: He is an Olympic level athlete and acrobat capable of many difficult acrobatic feats.
Peak Human Conditioning: Has shown Olympic to possible near peak human level strength, agility, endurance, dexterity, etc.
Advanced Scout: Barnes is a very gifted scout and adept at stealth and concealment.
Multi-lingual: He is fluent in English, Russian, German, Japanese, and a little French. He might be able to speak other languages.
Expert Spy: He is an expert in the field of espionage thanks largely to World War Two hand-to-hand combat luminaries William Essart Fairbairn and Colonel Rex Applegate, his former partner, Steve Rogers, the United States military, British SAS regiment, and the Russian Government. He is skilled in stealth, demolitions, survival, deducing other persons ways of thinking and other fields.
Expert Assassin: Barnes is an adept of his generation as Matthew Murdock and Elektra Natchios is of theirs, possibly the most lethal assassin in the marvel universe rivaling others such as Bullseye or Elektra. During an operation on the Russian Front with the Invaders, Barnes has from concealment thrown a 60 centimeters-long knife to penetrate the winter uniform outer garment of a German soldier with such accuracy as to pierce his heart in high arctic winds several meters. Barnes has mastered and implemented several methods to silently eliminate sentries with bladed weapons, garrotes or his bare hands, making him as lethal in his own way as his former Invader teammates, the Torches, Union Jack or Namor. He is a master at stealth and tracking and is very intelligent. He was able to render Wolverine's superhumanly acute senses such as smell completely useless by luring him to an abandoned warehouse that was completely soaked on the inside with oil and even soaking himself to make it so that Wolverine could not detect him. Barnes has made a habit out of constantly studying his surroundings and depicting what he can and cannot do in whatever situation he should fall in much like his former partner, Captain America before his death. During Barnes' visit to the Captain America exhibit that had been made to honor him after his death, he was constantly detecting potential ways to sneak in and out of the museum and the room without being detected and only taking out a small number of security to do so. The Black Widow stated to Tony Stark that he was one of the most dangerous men she knew.
What's hidden behind the mask:
Personality: Bucky is one of the good guys and you can always depend on him if you need help. Growing up, The Winter Soldier was always a good friend to others like Captain America, even like a brother. He can be defensive when someone’s messing around with one of his friends or family relatives. Bucky is outspoken and speaks his mind when the time is right. He loves the adventure, the action, and excitement when going out on the field. It makes Bucky who he is and also loves a challenge, it makes the adrenaline rush in him go
up even higher.
The Winter Soldier isn’t afraid and doesn’t back down from anything. He may be just a kid but don’t let the looks fool you, he’s 100 percent America. Bucky believes that everyone deserves a second chance or three strikes and you’re out, to redeem yourself. He’s made many of mistakes, even when he was so called ‘dead’, he just doesn’t remember it now. Bucky can be kind of shy of meeting a woman and sometimes doesn’t have the strength or muscle to ask her out. He’s always focused and determined to accomplish anything life throws at him. Bucky goes all out when the stack is against him.
History: As a young boy, James Buchanan Barnes lost his father (a soldier during WWII), and was adopted by Camp Lehigh as their mascot, and given the nickname "Bucky". He was separated from his younger sister Rebecca, who was sent to boarding school while he persuaded officials into letting him remain at Camp Lehigh as a ward of the state due to sharing his father's love of the armed forces. It was here that he learned the identity of Captain America. He underwent rigorous training and was assigned to be Cap's sidekick, accompanying him on many adventures, and the two often worked with the original Invaders. However, on a final mission against Baron Zemo, Bucky and Cap hopped on an experimental drone plane in an attempt to disarm a bomb. The bomb detonated, dropping Cap in the North Atlantic, where he would later be found and thawed out by the Avengers. American forces never found Bucky's body, and he was presumed dead.
70 years later, Bucky woke up in a hospital room and looked around. The man was alive and not dead, but looked on his other arm, seeing it in full metal, including his hand. As he got up out of bed, The Winter Soldier ran outside of the room, then out of the building seeing everything in front of his eyes. I-Pods, Cell Phones, television sets, and Bucky was confused. He thought he was in some sort of dream and wanted to wake up, but this was no dream, it was reality staring right in front of him. He asked other people where he was and all they could tell him is that it’s 2012. Suddenly, a woman named Maria Hill introduced herself as director of SHIELD and told Bucky he was asleep for 70 years. Now The Winter Soldier is looking for more answers, and is trying to get used to the new world he’s in. Looking up information of the past, Bucky looks forward of reuniting with some old friends…even with Captain America.

The day’s over but the chaos and mayhem have just begun, especially for these two. Bucky and Natasha came home to there apartment after dealing with a slimy bunch of symbiote’s in the subways earlier. It’s never easy but difficult to contain a force that’s powerful than before. Everything was just a mess, plans ruined and broken but the unexpected shows itself after a tough fight. For Bucky, he’s been there and done that with Steve, Logan, Dum Dum Dugan, in WII when you know that you’re going to win the battle, but this time…it’s different, Bucky almost could of lose himself but also lose one other person…Natasha.
Bucky and Natasha were two of the people, alongside Spider Woman assigned to take one section of the tunnels together. Natasha and Bucky work well, they trust each other, love one another, even have history together. During there time in the subways, each symbiote seem to be rising and reforming after being taken down each time. Didn’t it stop them no? But Spider Woman was the one who fell victim to the dangerous slime, overtaking her and that’s when everything got out of hand. Thanks to some back up, everyone made it out safe but Bucky’s still worried about how Natasha felt about it.
As the night comes, Bucky changes from his gear to his nightclothes in there bedroom while Natasha was getting ready for bed. The Winter Soldier felt that Natasha was holding back before they all went in. He wouldn’t say that she was scared but somewhere deep inside The Black Widow, just wasn’t herself. Natasha is one of the toughest women he ever met. She always had a backup plan and one of the people who trusted her with his life. If he was having some problems of his own, he turned to her for help and guidance because that’s his lover and partner for life.
Bucky gets up from the bed and looks outside the window…looking at the moonlight that shinned beautifully through the window of there apartment. Suddenly he heard footsteps behind him and The Winter Soldier turned around seeing Natasha as the moonlight shinned on her and Bucky smiled. “You look beautiful Tasha” he said as he walked toward the bed and pulling the covers. “So, you feeling any better?”, he asked her. “I mean…you can talk to me about anything”, he said sincerely and knew he wanted to help her get through this nightmare of a mess.
