The Asgardain known as The Enchantress, appeared in a flash of brilliant yellow light, and smoke, looking as breath taking as ever, as she stood just inside of the Mansion’s entrance, shocking the Avengers who were there. Never one short for words, Amora spoke, before any of them had a chance to react, fear in her eyes and voice, something that those who had met her before were not use to. “Avengers, I and the Realm Eternal have need of Thee, and Thine services! Doom has attacked and is presently murdering all in Asgard! If ye do not act now, all will be lost!”
Though this was her true self, she had also sent dobblegangers to the Watchtower, Titans Tower (though the team had disbanded and abandoned it sometime before hand), as well as Xavier’s’ Mansion and the Baxter Building, carrying the same, dire message. She knew only the heroes could save her home, as well that her past with them would make them reluctant to trust her, she hoped that their friendship with Thor and Sif would make up for it, and help convince them to aid her, other wise her home would be lost. “Please, I know Thoust has little love for me, but if ye do not aid me, than Thor, though the Lord of Asgard has abandoned you, will also be lost!”
Johnny, though not one of Thor’s best friends, could not bring himself to refuse to aid a founder of the Avengers, even if that founder had lost his mind, and become a total jerk. He looked at his teammates around him, before returning his gaze to Amora. “Alright Enchantress, the Avengers will help. However, if I think for even a second, that this is a trap, all the magic in the Universe, won’t be enough to keep me from chopping off your head, understand?” He thought because removing the head of an immortal kill them in his favorite movie, Highlander, that that was how you were supposed to actually kill one. In reality, his vibranium shield probably wouldn’t even scratch her skin, let alone decapitate her. She nodded in agreement, her desperation to save Asgard keeping her sarcasm in check, and was the only thing on her mind.
