Viper's head snapped up, eyes wide and face full of shock and slight hope when Sakkara said she could get rid of her nightmares. It was the last thing she expected anyone to say to her, hence the reaction. Almost as quickly, Viper recovered and hid her expression by looking back down at her plate. "No one can get rid of these nightmares. Drugs help occasionally, but..." She shut up, having said too much already. This woman was gaining more and more information about her by the minute and Viper was still in the dark when it came to knowing details. It was maddening, frustrating. Pushing her plate away, Viper abruptly stood up from the table. "If you'll excuse me for a moment." Not waiting to hear an answer, Viper left the room, heading for the nearby outdoor terrace of the restaurant.
The night air was cool and refreshing, allowing some relief for Viper, but the green haired woman was still filled with tension. And so she paced, her heels clicking on the stone tiles. She paced for minutes, muttering to herself about nothing in particular in Hungarian until she had finally worn herself out, dragging her mind back into a sense of calm. And yet still, it took a few minutes more for her to return to that room, that woman.
The conversation when she returned wasn't much of an improvement, but it was there. "The marriage was an honor bound obligation Logan had to fulfill, nothing more. We both endured it. I just simply got the better deal." At the last comment, Viper calmly looked up at Sakkara and blinked once before replying. "I've never had an interest in women, if that's what you're implying." That said, she quietly returned to her meal.
